I love my job...

I love my job! For the last three weeks I have been working at Vistancia elem. in a community pre-school. They lost their aid right before Christmas break, and cannot find a replacement. We have a morning class, and an afternoon class. I drop my kids off at 8:20 and go straight to work and get done at 3:20, in time to get my older kids at Parkridge. Kristen is a wonderful friend and gets the little ones for me at 2:40. The teacher I am working with is awesome, and I love our kids, it is so much fun, we finger paint and have imaginary days, like "Snow Day" we played in the "snow", and made snowmen out of bagels and a lot of other super fun things. We had "hibernation day" and everyone got to wear their jammies, and we learned about animals who sleep for a long time every year. We finger paint almost everyday, it is a fun place to be. I am praying that i'll be there for the rest of the year, nobody wants to drive out there, except me. I don't mind the drive, there is never any traffic. It's still difficult to juggle being a GOOD Mom with having a job all day, sometimes I feel like my brain is going to explode!

Our Hannah Montana Night...

A dream night for Emmi, and her sisters had fun too!

The big girls (Charlee, Stephie, & Emmi) were fortunate enough to go see Hannah Montanna on Tuesday night! It was at the Jobing.com arena. Thanks very much to the Moyes and Yoder Families! The girls went with Kelsey, Nikki, And the Chase kids and hung out in the Moyes' suite, they had an amazing time, first class all the way! Don't worry there were enough teenager for each Little kid. Ally and A.J. opened for her, they are cute girls from the Disney channel also. The kids got to drink soda and eat junk.. The Mom's had fun too, we went to dinner at the Yard House, we just hung out at the restaurant, until Hannah was done singing. The kids were soo pumped up when they came out especially Emmi, and the other 9 year olds. I'm pretty sure the older girls had a great time and really enjoyed the whole experience. Once again we are very blessed with wonderful friends.

Holy Cow! after 17 years, I'm still a Howe!

Yesterday Loren and I celebrated 17 years! We just stayed home with the kids, and played games, doesn't sound very exciting, but we really enjoy hangin out with them, the older they get, the more we enjoy each of their personalities. Loren and I met on February 14th 1989, at a basketball game that his cousin Ty was playing in and I was cheering. It was very surprising that my Dad liked and trusted Loren, (Dad and Mom always knew) Loren was older and had long hair and an earring. Two years later we got hitched, and believe me, their were some people who thought we wouldn't last, because we were young, I was barely 19 and Lo was almost 21. One of our first big dates was the Bon Jovi/Skid Row concert down in Phoenix. We went with Ty and his date, it was so fun, so for our anniversary present to each other we will be going to the to see them again, well at least Bon Jovi, Daughtry is with them this time (way better than Skid Row!) Now THAT will be exciting! We've been through a lot together, and it hasn't always been easy, but we still love each other... I am lookin for old pics of us, that should be funny...

Is the Adoption place in Heaven?

Lately Brooki has become more aware of the meaning of the word "adoption". It is not something that we really talk about, but she is old enough to remember her adoption day, and sealing. We have always told each of our children how happy and blessed we are that Heavenly Father chose to send them into our family! So when we were in the car the other day and Brooklyn asked from out of the blue if "the adoption place was in Heaven?", I was taken back at first, but quickly felt very warm and emotional at the thought, how PERFECT, of course that's where it is. I explained that Heavenly Father decides before we are born and still in Heaven, what family we will be in, and some times when Mommies can't carry any more babies in their belly, they have to go to a helper Mommy first. She was satisfied with that and hasn't asked about it since. Porter on the other hand can't quite wrap his mind around the fact that he wasn't in my tummy at some point, he has seen a lot of our friends and family who have had babies in their tummy recently, and always talks about when he was in mine. I figure that when he's old enough it will dawn on him. I am so grateful for God's plan for us, Brooklyn's simple, yet exactly precise observation said it perfectly...

Happy New Year!! 2008

Lot's of fun New Year's Eve, Steph and one of her girlfriends stayed home and partied with the little kids, and Charlee had a couple of parties to go to also. We went to the movies with friends; I am Legend, (not the most uplifting movie), but we did have a lot of fun trying to get a picture with the four of us in it.
