Happy Happy Birthday Stephie!

Yesterday my little Stephanie turned 14 years old! Most people think she is older, because of her looks, and her smarts. She is still our squishy, HAPPY baby with the amazing Hamstrings! and Man! has she ever put those Hammies to good use! Not only does she get excellent grades and serve in student Council and her Church, she is a Gifted Athelete! I only wish I had half of her athletic ability! (She got that from her POP!) She is very excited to play soccer in in High School next year, she is a sight to behold on the soccer field! Steph, we all love you very much and we are so happy for the young lady you have become, you are a wonderful human being, and you have taught your old Mommie a lot! ILOVEYOU!

Laundress?

I might feel more romantic about laundry if I had a set of these!

Who the heck ever thought of the word "laundress"? Someone no doubt, who was sick of it! Someone who wanted it to sound romantic like the word Princess, or Duchess with long , flowing tresses? She's waiting for her Prince Charming to come rescue her, and take her to his well- furnished Castle, with a beautiful indoor/outdoor Pool, not a whirlpool! You might be wondering if I have lost my mind, or what happened to push me over the edge...Well it was the thought that went through my tired brain as I perused my closet this morning. You know you are sick of the never-ending, ever multiplying task of Laundry when you go into your closet and actually think; what shirt can I wear today, and throw away when I get it dirty? Now I would never do that,without using it as a cleaning rag or something, I am Earth conscious, But I did actually think that today.. It might be that 7 people live in this home, and wear clothes every-day..

I woke up this morning a little later than usual, because it's my day off from my other job, it's the day that I get to make my kids lunches and make sure they look good, and clean, better than when the Daddy does it.. It is also my day to get every other little thing done that gets neglected, most of which is Laundry, and other household stuff. I inevitably can't even get half of it done, so I end up wishing I could have just one more day off. Anyway my point is that the word "Laundress" is LAME! can I get an AaaaMEN?

Uncle Hunter is deployed to Iraq...

We went to dinner to give Hunter LOVE before he goes......

Loren's little Brother Hunter just found out that he is being deployed in within the next 10 days to Iraq, he is in the Air Force and is one of six Fire Fighters from Luke going. It's scary to think of the things that could happen, but we realize that it's important work and necessary. Hunter and his wife Jackie just had their first Baby; Kylie, she is just 3 months old.

I can't believe he is already a Father, and now he is serving his Country. I first met Hunter when Loren and I were dating he was only 3 years old, he and his identical twin Brother Dillon were quite the pair, they would spend time with us in the summers. Hunter was always a sweet heart, and still is, he's also a great Daddy.

We are So proud of you Hunter, and we will be keeping you our prayers so you can get back home safely to your little Family.

Brooklyn chose to be Pocahontas for her 2nd grade project..She was beautiful and did a great job.
