Time with the Howe's...

We spent some quality time with Loren's Parent's and brother's, we celebrated our niece Cheyene's 3rd birthday. Good times swimmin and b-b-Qin, and 4 wheelin.

Big Boys and Baseball...

A couple of months ago Lo and Porter went to a D-Backs game, and they both had a great time. It helps that P is old enough to enjoy the actual game so the a Father/son moments are becoming more enjoyable.

The Joy Girls....

We had my nieces over last weekend. They are soo sweet and funny, we really enjoy having them around, they fit in so naturally, being girls and all... Porter likes to play with Lu, she adores him and he loves that! Cookie and Liza dissapear into thier imaginary world and we never see them unless they get hungry! Janey tags along with Em, and the big girls. So Lo and I are realizing that Lucy is the last baby for this generation, and it makes us feel old and reflective of how it seems like just yesterday, our first little girl was just a Year old. Now our last baby just really wishes that he had a little brother, but that's not happenin. We will just have to have our 4 handsome nephews come down for a weekend before school starts up again.

Our gutar hero....

Our little guy is pretty entertaining to watch on G.H., He really rocks out, and he knows the lyrics to his favorite songs, for instance "Metallica's , One". I know, *** I never in my wildest dreams thought that any child of mine would know a Metallica song! Anyway he's pretty good and our family has enjoyed the WII with other families for a fun activity. Some of our good friends got a Wii recently, but do not have "Guitar Hero", so we left it with them for a couple of days and they were extremely addicted afterward, or at least my girl Nancy was! here is a picture of the Thank You card they gave us, I always knew she was very talented and creative, but I had know idea about her rock STAR tendencies....

So you think I should cut my hair off?

Last night I was watching "S.Y.T.Y.C.Dance?" and there was the cutest girl from Utah, she had a darling cut... It made me miss having a stylish short haircut, any way I have hesitated chopping it, because it's taken me a few years to get it to this length, it's kind of boring. I don't think i'll have the patience to grow it out this long again... Any thoughts?

A cool Proposal...

My cousin just got Married last Friday , and at the reception is where I heard the story of his proposal... One night he and his sweetheart were watching TV, and a Coke commercial came on (the one from the Super Bowl) any way you watch the quarters go into the machine and you follow them down into a cool new world. After watching, he announced that he wished he could live in a Coke machine all by himself, she immediately questioned him,- if he really wanted to live there all alone? He assured her that she would be the only one who could live there with him.***** Fast forward to a weekend when he was out "camping "with his buddies, she arrived home to find a Coca~cola machine on the driveway, with a note and 2 quarters, that said something like this: "All it would take to live with me in this machine, is 2 quarters and a ring... She put the quarters in the machine and out came the ring! By this time she was looking around for him, and he was nowhere to be seen, then the door of the machine opened up and there stood her new Fiance.. Don't you think that was so clever? he found an old machine, gutted it and created a memory to tell there Great Grandchildren about, I wonder what Coke will look like then.....
