The Trunk or Treat.... whew...
There were a few hiccups; with the no lights and trenches, but my kind Friends said it added to the "scary" factor! Thanks to everyone who was so helpful last night and generous with the compliments, I have learned some valuable lessons for the Christmas Party....Their were some people who were an awesome help , and you know who you are! Thank you! Loren was a Hairband member, bug was a punker, Steph was a vampire, same with Porter and Brooki, and Em was a cheerleader, a girl after my own heart!(thanks Lori)...O yeah and I was a totally 80's chick! At least I wasn't a black cat again.

Finally a little Family Vacation!
Beautiful Utah, yes Utah is beautiful this time of the year! But even better is spending time with Best Friends that you never get to see! We started off with a very early and exciting Airplane ride with the Fam! (Thanks for the sky miles Dad!) Any one who knows me knows that I am a paranoid freak especially on an PLANE! But somehow staying calm for the sake of not scaring my kids helped a lot, it also helped that it just felt right that we were all together. We stayed with our best friends from College; Ster and Char, it was soo nice to hang out with them, our kids act like long lost siblings when they're together, and it's fun, and a little sad to see them growing up so fast. Charlee and Colton were our first children and and they were together every day the first few years of thier lives, and then we moved back to sunny Arizona, and then Colorado... We don't get together as families very often, but when we do it's CRAZY FUN! really it's crazy! and always lot's of laughing. Our first stop was Temple Square, and the Conference Center, It was fun to watch the kids see it for the first time it's gorgeous there, and so much history. Charlee did some research on the Temple and shared it at o The F.M.H. before we went, which made it more interesting. Then we went to Gate Way, and then to see Ster's new Triumph Youth Facility, he does very important and Amazing work with those kids! He also took us to his Pheasant farm, where he demonstrated how he can make the pheasants fall asleep, pretty cool. Then we went to the "Haunted Corn Maze" where Char and I tried to hide in the creepy maze and scare people, we mostly succeeded at freaking each other out! The whole time we were there, Porter just wanted to play in the snow, so one morning, after Sterling fed us yet another Hardy breakfast, we went on a snow hunt up to Snow Basin, where Colton snow boards all winter. We found some, and it was really cool to see how excited the kids were! We also went to "Frightmares"at Lagoon, (nauseating).
We ate a lot of fabulous food and laughed even more, it was totally RAD! We love you guys! and miss you already! Pics are commin...

Refreshing!
Conference today was a breath of fresh air! a time for renewal and re-commitment. The last several years I have tried to watch General Conference PRAYERFULLY, and miraculously my prayers are answered! I was not disappointed. I have always loved President Monson, I know he has been called by a loving Heavenly Father to lead and comfort us. He said some great things in the last couple of days, but one of my favorite's was, "Never let a problem to be solved, be more important than a Person to be loved"...Easy advice to take from a person who lives his life that way.
"Tis the Season"..Soccer Season that is.
OOO, she is so intimidating! The weather was perfect cool, overcast, and even a little breezy at times...
It started a couple of weeks ago, at least the practices did. Steph, and Em have practice 2 days a week, and Brooki, and Porter just one day. This Saturday was our first games, I missed Steph's and Lo missed the other kids because they are miles apart. There is one magical day that we are able to cheer for every one. They all are doing well,Porter scored a goal (he is playing UP this year , which makes him seem even more "broccoli" than usual. Emmi is a forward this season and is starting to get more aggressive, so is Brooklyn, we spend years teaching our children to share and be polite, and then we ask the to be aggressive and "take that ball away from the little monster's on the other team!" It takes some getting used to. Here are some pics...

Mediterranean anyone?
fresh....
I went to this cool new eatery, called "Pita Jungle", http://www.pitajungle.com/ I'd heard that it was really good and healthy, but it was on the east side of course, well now there is one in the Arrowhead area. I was not disappointed, it was really good, healthy, and very hip! I ordered the pesto pizza, A grilled pita with pesto ,spinach leaves, tomatoes feta cheese mushrooms ans mozzarella, it was so delicious that I recreated it at home for my family, they were not as in love with it as I, so I shared them with my neighbors.
