These are some of the lives he has touched...
I have written posts about Barton before, but it was to recognize the selfless work that he does, this time it is for the Man himself... He was in a motorcycle accident in Uganda 2 days ago, he suffered a badly broken arm and leg, and other head contusions, they think he is going to be ok, although it is sketchy because of where he is. He already had 1 surgery and he will have 2 more today, he has been airlifted to a better hospital, and Surgeon. So please keep him in your prayers, so he can recover quickly and get back to his important work with Global Colors, the organization that he started. Barton is my family, but more importantly he is my dear friend he loves me, and tells me that every time I talk to him. When we were kids I would share secrets with him and he always listened to my stuff, he has a huge heart and is trying to do his part to make the world a better place... Oh my heck! I am sorry to hear about his accident. I cannot imagine having to go through surgery in a country like that! I will keep him in my prayers!

What an amazing thing he is doing. How is he Wendy? I need an update. Does he have contacts in Africa? Does he need some? I he having more surgeries? I have to say-I love his blog and admire so much what he is doing.

Wendy that is to bad. I hope and pray everything goes ok. I admire people who do things like that.
Barton is an amazing person and has already made such an impact on so many lives. I hope he gets back to the states soon so that he can get the love and support of his family and friends. I know there's nothing that will keep him from continuing his work when he's able. I love Bart and his spirit. He'll be blessed for his good works. Love you too Wen
