This is between the first and second Hospital, some of his many friends helping.
A little good news that is... I just got a message from Daren, Barton's wonderful Brother, he and my Aunt Carla got to Africa safely, and are with him now. He said they had a tearful reunion and that they are working as fast as possible to get him to the State's (he will not be able to heal there, the things are) hopefully by Sunday! That would be great....
This morning one of his nurses brought in a computer, and Barton sent me a message, he says he is OK, but wants to get back here, and is very touched by all of the support. I wish I had a way to see him in NYC when he gets there, at least he will finally have the care he needs. Hooray, I don't want to celebrate prematurely, but this is good news.

Those pictures are amazing. I can't wait until he returns here and can get the medical care he needs. I am grateful that he has not sustained more serious head injuries, very grateful. I wish I could help you get to NYC, I would if I could! Love ya!
Wendy, so good to hear good news! We have had Bart in our prayers. He is doing such awesome work and I hope he recovers quickly so he can get back to it! You are such a supportive and sweet cousin, he's lucky to have you.

Barton sounds like an amazing person! Undoubtedly God is with him. What a scary ordeal. I am so glad to hear that he has family with him now and that he will be able to return to the States soon!
