"Lucky" in LOVE....

Twenty years ago, this Valentines Day, was the first time I laid eyes on Loren, or atleast I thought it was.... I was a junior in High School, and the Captain of the Cheer Squad, he was a Freshman in College and had come to watch his Cousin Ty play in a Varsity Basket-ball game... This is what I saw; He was super Hot, 6 feet tall, lots of muscles, and Bon Jovi style hair that came down between his well defined shoulders, he was gorgeous, and had a great smile. I couldn't really concentrate on the game that night, I just kept thinking that I hoped he would stay for the Dance after... After the game, (i have no idea whether we won or lost) Ty introduced us, and I knew that he thought I was cute. Of course he didn't stay for the dance , he was to OLD for that, although he had all the girls hoping he would, and he knew it. Anyway we didn't get together that night, but soon we realized how Lucky we were to have found each other. I couldn't have picked a better Father for our Children, and he has always told me that I was Beautiful through thick and thin, even when It was very thick. So in honor of our Lucky blessings, I dedicate this song to you Lo; "LUCKY" by Jason Mraz, and Kolbie Calait... Let's pretend we're surf bums just chillin on some Beach together. I'm so Happy that I'm your Best Friend! Happy Valentines Babe. I still think you're super HOT!***** By the way we later learned that we had known eachother as little kids, and our Mom's; who were both already gone, had sang together in the Church choir....

O Boy!

Our Boy sure has had a hard time with his teeth! He gets so angry when he can't eat something because he no longer has Molars.... And now he is starting to loose his front teeth, are we gonna have the first little boy with Dentures? He even has our very excellent Dentist perplexed, there is no decay, his roots just desolved, has anyone ever heard of this? I am worried about his future with food. He has the goofiest smile right now, he was trying to eat a conversation heart today, and it was soo sad, I asked him how in the world he was gonna chew that?, and he said; "with my TOOTH!" Man when this kid gets his "big boy" teeth he is going to be so Handsome!

A Week of over-indulgence and celebrating!

This last week was my "birth day" week, and it has made me once again realize how richly I have been blessed with good friends, people who love me, despite my naughtiness. I went a out a few times to celebrate with different groups of great women; girls from church, life-long friends and family.

Twice I got to go to BJ's, a great eatery I highly recommend , it's located in Park West right off of Northern and the 101 it features a delicious menu, which includes lunch specials , a huge variety, and most importantly;a free pazookie, on your Birthday. To everyone I was able to party with, and those of whom I didn't because of the miles between us or other various reasons I thank you for making life more fun, and crazy I love you all!

Ode to the PEARLS....

My $4 strand of pearls to be exact... For those of you who know the story behind these little beauties I will thank you for appreciating their full purpose.. Isn't it amazing how something so small can be so liberating? So if you haven't given your pearls a WHIRL, you should, and soon! You won't be disappointed.

SHE'S 37!!!!

Hi everyone! This is Charlee, not my mom. She doesn't know I'm posting this, but she will soon I suppose. Alright, so, this Tuesday, January 20, my mommy, Wendy Michelle turned 37. Now, if you've seen my mom recently, you know that she doesn't look 37 and she certainly doesn't doesn't act like it. (Her and her friends act more like they're 17 instead of 37 when they get together.) I love my mom, and so does the rest of my family. She is a huge and important part of our family. She is the one that keeps us sane and keeps us from killing each other. She makes us laugh and drives us crazy. She's here for us when we need to be picked up, and when we're a little high on ourselves, she'll knock us down, too. Thank you, mom, for all the lunch dates and conversations and heart to heart sessions. I love you SOOOOOOO much. I don't know what I would do without you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

It's our 18th Anniversary Babe... WOW.

They thought we were crazy kids, crazy-in-love maybe!

Holy Moly 18 years!Married! I can't believe it, the time has really gone by quickly, it seems like just yesterday, that I had on my princess dress with poofy sleeves and my poofy bangs.... Then we were bringing home our first beautiful girl Charlee, we were in college working and running our own little Business, then Graduation, for Loren at least.. Our Baby girl had Open Heart surgery, and came through it beautifully, i might add, that was also the day we announced we were expecting our 2nd baby! Stephanie was born 3 and 1/2 years after her older sister, she was gorgeous, and healthy! We opened our BIG O Tire store couple of months later. Emmilyn was here 3 and1/2 years after Steph, born in Colorado she was our little Angel girl.. ****We loved the land, and it was a welcomed change from the desert.., endured an embezzlement, heartache, and a diagnosis of a Brain Disease.. MOVED Back to the Sunny AZ. Tried to recover physically and financially, we were blessed with the miracle of Brooklyn, and then Porter.... We have also been blessed with some amazing friends a long the way. Most recently we have seen our babies growing up healthy and strong in the Gospel, we have had a few more speed bumps on our road, but through it all it has always been; *****************Loren&Wendy!****************************

Ride Makers..

One of the Boys' presents was a car from Ride Makerz, it like Build a Bear, but with cars! Loren, Porter, and Stu went to build Charlee went as the Photog, but I think she got too caught up.
